Study GRC started as a small group studying for certifications together. Since then we’ve grown into a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a growing community of members and practitioners — all grounded in one idea: Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) knowledge should be free for everyone.

Today we’re launching the new studygrc.org. Some things may not work perfectly yet — we’re polishing everything. Your feedback helps us make this site better for the community.

What’s on the site

Everything is organized around what the community actually uses:

  • Resource directory — Curated GRC frameworks, tools, templates, and learning materials across 11 categories
  • Programs — Thursday night study groups, alternating Friday sessions, informal 1:1 coffee chats (Coffee with the Mafia), the Monday Community Call, and more
  • This blog — for announcements, session recaps, and community updates

No ads. No trackers. No paywalls.

What’s coming next

We’re building more. Here’s what’s on the way:

  • New programs — Programs for small businesses, safety, and K-12 educators, targeted for release by the end of July
  • Video transcripts as articles — We’re converting past session recordings into written articles so the knowledge is searchable and accessible in more formats
  • PeerTube — Our ad-free video platform at videos.studygrc.org is under development and will become our primary home for curated content

Member portal

We’ve also launched a free member portal. From there you can browse and register for upcoming events, manage your membership profile, and support Study GRC through a one-time or recurring donation.
